I am working so hard to make an extra income at home that I had trouble letting a day and a half go by without getting all the stats for all my new sources of income. I went with my family for an overnight trip, and for the first few or so hours it was hard for me to stop thinking about the cents I could be making if I had my computer and an internet connection on the car ride. I have officially become obsessed with learning to make an income on line.
Today I have spent a large portion of the day trying to catch up on the tasks that I did not do while I was gone. I am going to have to stop my obsession to go to my dance class tonight and then rehearsal for the show I am going to be in this weekend. Then I will have to split my time between sleep/working and dancing. This is my life until after June 2nd.
The good news is that I have learned a lot of things about making money online and I am learning to weed out scams from legit sites. I am quickly raising my level of income from each avenue but there is a long way to go. Going from cents to dollars will take a huge time investment up front but it should pay off and keep growing if I keep up on the most important aspects. I must keep my eye on the big plan and stop focusing on the smaller things.
The big plan is to be able to make money from my blogs but not just with Adsense. While Adsense is useful it is not going to be the main source of my income. The plan is to look for appropriate advertising for each blog in combination with Adsense and write quality content on a regular basis. Some of my blogs are still going to be hobby blogs and they won't need to be monetized, but if there is a way to make a little extra on a hobby I am going to take it. Some blogs will also open the opportunity to write for pay and others will open new doors to make money in other ways as long as I keep my eye on the future. I am starting to feel pretty optimistic about this and even if I end up having to get a desk job later because I couldn't make it work, at least I can say I gave it my best shot.
I am working rather hard Extra Cash From Home right now because it has the most earning potential and I am really enjoying learning how to make money online and share it with others. I would love it if you would visit my site and tell me what you think.

Life is heading in a new direction
Changes
This has been a life changing few months for me so I have not been here to update my blog. My hubby was called back to work after eight months off and could be laid off at any time again. So the idea of moving is long gone and this blog was so focused on the moving to a farm I was afraid to change it up.I also started dance lessons and spend a good ten hours or more each week at the studio and I have lost a ton of inches and built some impressive girl muscles. This is something I love and I am passionate about so it is also another reason I have chosen to spend money here rather than on a farm.
I didn't join a CSA either because we are trying to keep the food budget down. We eat a lot of egg based meals because we have the six chickens. I have been eating up all my Herbalife stock and we are not struggling but we don't want to have to struggle if Ryan gets laid off again.
The New Plan
So all in all I have felt like I continuing this blog would be a bad idea. Then I got to thinking if my readers still want to hear how I am making little changes to live a more natural and organic life maybe I could still write articles. I can't have farm animals other than chickens on my city lot but I can talk about the chickens and the things I make with eggs. I can tell you about the products I buy to help support a more natural way of living.
When I have the extra money I will join a CSA again and I will bring you news from the farm. Next year I also see me having a good sized garden as well and I am also hoping to grow some herbs indoors and in pots on the porch. I got to late of a start this year and I don't think I will get too much in the way of veggies.
I think we will start making plans for next years garden this year that way we will be prepared and things will run a little more smoothly.
I have several natural and organic magazines coming to my home and I will share things I learn from them as well. So if all of that sounds good to my readers and I get some responses I will keep up with that but I will not be moving from my city home for quite some time if ever considering if we stay here we will never have to worry about job losses again because our monthly bills are low here.

Coupon Mom Whole Living deal
I just love Coupon Mom I got two years of this magazine for $7.98 cents. I use her Facebook page to find great deals on magazines I would love. I got Country Living for the same price and there are new deals each day. You can even get 20% off each day with the code on all magazines.
It looks like if you wait long enough you can get most of the magazines with very great deals so I plan to just buy them as the 3.99 a year deals come up. I will be on the look out for the organic and farming magazines so I can read up and share articles and experiments here.
I am looking at at least two more years before I can get the country home I would like so while I am waiting I will see what I can do with my little piece of property to make it more of an Urban farm. If I do it at my home I won't have to worry about long drives I can work anytime I am free and at home.
While I plan to volunteer at the Schooner Farms again I will need to do it on my own time table. It is a 40-50 minute drive there and quite frankly I hate working in the rain so I plan to head out on nice days. I won't be a volunteer they can count on to be there all the time but I love working there so as long as they will take me as an occasional volunteer I will be there a few times a month. I met a lot of great people out at that farm and I would like to keep in touch and help out!

It has been a while
Sitting here this morning watching my silly cat....you know the one that made a dog person into a cat and dog person..I felt inspired to write on this blog today. I was watching Loki run around unraveling his yarn ball and then picking up a hair tie and batting it everywhere in this little home and I started dreaming of a house in the country again.
I have been busy trying to get three businesses off the ground if I have any hope of getting a home in the country someday I have to make some money now and save so we can buy a country home without a loan because caring for more animals can get expensive. I had lost sight of my dreams though I keep forgetting what I am working towards and get bogged down in the day to day stuff that makes me feel like just giving up sometimes.
I am also working on getting in shape if working on the farm last spring and summer taught me anything it is that you kind of need to be in shape if you want to last more than an hour or two out there. Of course there are many other reasons I want to be in shape such as decreased health risks and higher energy levels.
My hens are still laying about an egg a day and all seems to be well with them. The kids in the area love to feed them and watch them through the fence. Asuka, my dog, and Loki, the stray cat the won us over, are getting along very well. My hubby is on his third week back to work so all is pretty well here.
I would like to get more income from my businesses so I don't have to keep reinvesting much of my profits. I know I can do this I just have to be patient and that really is not my strong area. I would much rather buy that country lot now and start building a house on it and move once it is ready but I really do need a more steady income first.
I have been evaluating my farming ideas and decided that since we are probably staying in Ohio and I really hate the cold months we are going to have to keep it simple. That means when we get that country lot it doesn't have to be huge just a 2-5 acres and I am leaning to 2-3 and we will keep chickens and maybe add a few other animals but not a full scale mini-farm. There is a lot to take care of and I really hate to do a lot of outdoor stuff in the coldest months so a lot of animals means a lot of outside work.
So the idea is to try really hard to increase my sales especially internet sales and save much of what I earn to go towards our dream house. If you would like to buy something her are the links:
Scentsy
Avon
Herbalife
So as part of my plans for a better life I am going to try to post weekly updates here and as it gets nicer I will get out there and get chicken picks to share and some tricks and tips I have learned about the animals we keep. It really helps to remember what I am doing all this for!
